In the surrounding area:

Altea’s Old Town: perfect to visit at sunset and enjoy the atmosphere of its streets full of whitewashed houses, restaurants and shops.

Beaches/coves

Sandy beaches:
Playa Arenal Bol: is the "town's" beach and is located to the south of the Peñón de Ifach. With golden sand, clear water and all the facilities you need.
Playa La Fossa: is located to the north of the Peñón and from here you can see the lesser known side of it. It has golden sand, crystal clear water and all the facilities.
Playa Cantal Roig: small and quiet beach located next to the fishing port and the Peñón de Ifach. It has numerous restaurants and is ideal for children.
Playa Puerto Blanco: if you prefer something quieter away from the city centre, this small sandy beach is ideal.
Cala del Morelló: a small cove of fine sand located on the Infanta Elena maritime promenade. The site known as Baños de la Reina (Queen's Baths) stands out.
Cala La Fustera (Benissa): a beautiful cove framed by rocky outcrops that give the surroundings a particular charm (Bar in the cove: Mandala Beach Bar).
Stone/rock cleats coves:
Cala El Racó: perfect for snorkelling lovers. You will find an underwater trail with informative signs about animal and plant species in the area (Chiringuito El Racó).
Cala Les Urques: a cove located in the south of the coast of Calpe, near the Puerto Blanco marina. It is the perfect cove for dog lovers as it is pet friendly!
Cala Mallorquí: a cove completely hidden among rock formations where you can breathe in the best Mediterranean atmosphere.
Cala Baladrar (Benissa): a beautiful cove of stones that contrasts with the green of the pine trees and the blue of the sea to enjoy a unique day. Perfect for snorkelling (Chiringuito Olalá).
